As a Banking Center Service Specialist at Elliott, MS, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and performing a variety of financial transactions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and master a range of service tasks within the first 6 months of employment.

I. General Tasks and Skills

  • Conduct basic financial transactions, such as cashing checks, accepting deposits, and buying/selling currency.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of cash and accurately balance cash holdings on a daily basis.
  • Process transactions initiated by other departments, such as loan payments and wire transfers.
  • Handle night depository and subject to count deposits as needed.
  • Become familiar with ATM servicing and replenishment.
  • Learn to perform dual control duties when servicing ATMs or transporting cash.
  • Open and close accounts for individual and organizational customers.
  • Assist customers with enrolling in and using online and mobile banking.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Reconcile financial paper working stock log and prepare wire transfers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
II. Security

  • Follow security procedures for work stations, robberies, and bomb threats.
  • Protect confidential and proprietary information.
  • Safeguard keys, combinations, and codes.
  • Comply with fraud prevention and antimoney laundering policies and procedures.
