    Senior UX/UI Designer, Applications at TrellisWare

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Design intuitive graphical user interfaces for web, PC, or mobile applications.
    • Enhance and maintain a suite of wireless networking tools.
    • Use intuitive visualization techniques to minimize user cognitive load.
    • Collaborate with Product Management and Software Development to gather user requirements.
    • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, wireframes, and mockups.
    • Present design drafts to internal teams and stakeholders.
    • Identify and solve UX problems incorporating end-user feedback.
    • Build relationships with team members based on trust and respect.

    Education and Work Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Design or Computer Science.
    • Five to eight plus years of industry experience in designing user interface applications.
    • Experience in contemporary user interface solutions showcased in a design portfolio.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Work effectively independently and within a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in wireframe tools like Figma or Sketch.
    • Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, or Adobe XD.
    • Ability to design for various screen sizes and resolutions preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong artistic and creative ability.
    • Capacity to think from a user's perspective.
    • Initiative, proactive work ethic, and prioritization skills.
    • Effective execution and decision-making.
    • Promoter of change and innovation.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.

    Physical Demands:

    • Range of physical activities required, including sitting, standing, walking, using hands, lifting weights, etc.
    • Specific vision abilities needed for the job.

    Additional Requirement:

    • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

    TrellisWare Technologies offers competitive pay based on market standards and individual qualifications. The salary range for this role in San Diego, CA is between $115k-$165k annually.
