The Kohlhammer Group, with around 350 employees, includes the Kohlhammer Fachverlag, the Deutscher Gemeindeverlag as a form publisher, as well as modern printing and service companies.

To further professionalize our internal and external communication within the company, we are looking for a creative, open-minded individual with a strong linguistic sensitivity.

Communications Officer (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the development and conceptual design of our internal and external corporate communications

Your tasks will include:

Conceptual planning, development, and editorial coordination of internal communications (e.g. intranet, website, newsletter)
You will be responsible for planning and implementing press and public relations, creating topic plans and researching facts for press articles on topics in our publishing program
You will coordinate press inquiries and be responsible for planning and conducting interviews with our authors
You will contribute to the direction of corporate communications in the area of social media, research topics, and write texts for print and online media of the Kohlhammer Group, as well as for our newsletters and blog posts
You will research current press clippings and reviews and regularly compile our online press review

YOUR PROFILE

Degree in media or communication sciences, journalism, or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in a similar role in a company or communication agency
Experience in editorial work for various media channels (e.g. print, online
