Are you passionate about promoting smarter and more efficient energy usage? Do you want to contribute to a world powered by unlimited green energy? As the "Vice President of R&D Projects for Green Energy Modules & Systems" (f/m/div) in Kaneville, IL, you will lead the development of cutting-edge semiconductor solutions for our Green Energy Modules & Systems (GEMS).

In this role, you will serve as the main liaison between our R&D, marketing, and production teams.

Your focus will be on driving international projects for GEMS, using lean and agile methods to continuously improve our processes.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing a diverse and international R&D team
  • Managing and executing chip, package, and product development projects on a global scale
  • Overseeing a portfolio of approximately 100 projects simultaneously
  • Implementing improvements to our R&D methods and processes
  • Evaluating and reporting on key performance indicators and implementing corrective measures
  • Collaborating with the GEMS management team to drive business success
  • Representing GEMS R&D to key customers
In this role, you will strive to find solutions that benefit all parties involved and anticipate future needs. You will also prioritize long-term profitability in your decision-making.

To excel in this position, you should have:

  • A university degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of work experience, including 5 years in a leadership role within an international organization
