Operational Purchaser m/f/d in Rock Falls, IA for direct employment


TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creation and maintenance of framework agreements and delivery schedules in SAP
  • Processing and implementation of purchase requests, invoice verification
  • Disposition of assigned items / continuous optimization of inventory levels
taking into account delivery capability

  • Maintenance of master data in the specified tools and systems (SAP)
  • Preparation of reports and evaluations such as inventory and range, price development, delivery performance
  • Monitoring of suppliers in terms of deadlines, delivery reliability and quality
  • Conducting inquiries and negotiating offers in close coordination with strategic purchasing and making award decisions
  • Support in handling complaints
  • Documentation of procurement processes according to internal guidelines and processes
  • Support of strategic purchasing and sales

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed commercial training with subsequent specialist qualification or professional experience
  • Good knowledge of English in spoken and written, additional foreign languages are an advantage
  • Good IT skills (Windows, MS-Office 365, SAP)
  • Technical basic knowledge in steel construction desirable
  • Flexibility, reliability and teamwork
