Description
We are looking for you to join the social welfare office of the state capital Stuttgart. The position is permanent.
The social welfare office, with currently around 600 employees in seven departments, is an important player in providing diverse social services and managing crisis situations.
The Real Estate and Procurement team, with six current employees, is part of the Administration department and plays a crucial role in providing housing for people without homes.
Your main responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing interim housing, emergency shelters, and acquiring social housing in close cooperation with internal and external partners.
You will also be responsible for monitoring safety, fire protection, and compliance with rental obligations and house rules.
You will coordinate construction work, repairs, and maintenance with the central property management and schedule appointments between contractors and residents.
You will be in charge of coordinating moves in and out of interim housing.Changes or additions to your responsibilities may occur.
Your profile:
Bachelor of Arts in Public Management, Diploma in Public Administration, or training as a public administration clerk with the second-level civil service examination.
Excellent communication skills.
