Gas Energy Technician (m/f/d) in Port Jervis

Your tasks, responsibilities, and duties:

  • Coordination of work on gas systems in high, medium, and low-pressure networks, taking into account generally recognized rules of technology, work and environmental regulations
  • Monitoring of all assembly, maintenance, and repair work in the gas networks
  • Collaboration with internal and external planning departments, instruction and supervision of contracted companies on construction sites
  • Ensuring the quality of supply in the network area
  • Preparation of technical documentation, network connection contracts, and cost calculations for construction projects
  • Point of contact for customers on site
  • Meter replacement activities
  • Participation in on-call duty

Your qualifications and skills:

  • Completed vocational training as a gas energy technician, plant mechanic, or a comparable qualification
  • Gas master with relevant professional experience in the energy supply industry
  • Assertiveness, communication and conflict resolution skills, planning and organizational talent
  • Driver's license class B
  • PC and MS Office skills
