Duties:

This position is being filled under the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense using hiring authority in 5 USC 9905.
***Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following:
  • Incumbent will assist with business strategic policy management oversight, conducts analytical assessments and evaluations, makes recommendations, and oversees the execution/implementation to inform management making, policy development, management, and administration of AD processes and services.
  • Serves as the intermediary between the Organization/Agency and the IT Service Provider, JSP.
  • Serves as an advocate for the delivery of IT requirements to meet their Organization's/Agency's mission.
  • The ITM is responsible for being fully aware of IT requests, requirements in support of their organization/agency and of the JSP Categories of Services: Enduser computing services (IT devices/services used by customers and stakeholders to include desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, multifunctional devices as well as In-Residence and Unauthorized Disclosure of Classified Information support), voice services (broad range of voice services including mobile and telephone services), video services (video teleconference solutions and television services), collaboration services (collaboration software solutions to include SharePoint, correspondence capabilities), software services (software for desktops/laptops/tablets), and equipment transfer disposition and/or repurposing back into the enterprise.
  • Resolves customer related technical hardware and software problems.

  • This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility mayu result in termination
  • Total salary varies depending on location of position
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment
  • Required to participate in the direct deposit program
  • This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TOP) under the civilian drug
- testing program.

  • The selectee must sign statements acknowledging the position is identified as a TOP.
  • The employee must be able to obtain and maintain an appropriate security clearance (Secret).
  • The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings weekends, and/or holidays and/or overtime.
  • Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military commercial aircraft.

Qualifications:
