The Dual Study Program at the Dual University is an alternative to traditional university studies for motivated high school graduates who possess strong logical-analytical thinking skills, a high level of commitment, and a practical mindset.

At the Dual University Mosbach, you will be trained as a mechanical engineer.

The specialization in plastic engineering will make you an expert in plastics and provide an understanding of product development and implementation of plastic components.

At TE Connectivity, you will actively work on solutions for the next generation of vehicles.

In the basic studies, in addition to the traditional fundamentals of mechanical engineering such as design, mechanics, strength of materials, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science, you will also learn the first basics of plastics, such as chemistry and plastic science, with corresponding labs.

Building on this, the main focus in the advanced studies will be on plastic-specific topics such as plastic processing and plastic processing machines, toolmaking, designing with plastics, etc.
