The research-based infrastructure facility Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP), located at DIW Berlin, is looking for a student assistant (m/f/div) to support the Survey Management in the area of the SOEP-REF survey starting April 1, 2023.

Tasks:

• Maintenance of questionnaire components and survey topics in a metadata system
• Research on survey content
• Conducting CAPI and CAWI tests
• Basic data analysis (Stata)
• Various support tasks: comparisons, checks, proofreading, formatting, digital filing of field documents

Requirements:

• Studies in a BA program with a focus on economics, social sciences, or public administration
• Independent, focused, and careful work
• Experience with Libre Office/Microsoft Office and the data analysis program STATA
• Good knowledge of English
