Your tasks:
- Management of a department that offers daily structured activities to external and internal clients
- Management of a multiprofessional team and their deployment planning
- Working in the field of autism according to the TEACCH concept
- Organizing the structure and managing the financial budget of the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum (Therapeutic Pedagogical Center)
- Collaborating with professional committees and being responsible for implementing legal requirements and internal standards
- Organizing the content work with current focuses on: gardening/animals; creative/crafts; cultural techniques; movement
Your profile:
Requirements for the position:
- A relevant completed vocational training as a Heilerziehungspfleger (special needs educator), Erzieher (educator), Gesundheits und Krankenpfleger (health and nursing care professional), Altenpfleger (geriatric nurse)
- Alternatively, a completed university degree in the field of Heilpädagogik (therapeutic pedagogy), social work, or a comparable qualification
- Practical experience in working with and supporting people with autism spectrum disorder and challenging behaviors
- Practical experience in working with the TEACCH approach
- Completed degree in "Leadership in Social Organizations" or willingness to complete it
- Willingness to learn German sign language
- Experience in a management position
Desirable:
- Teamwork skills and sense of responsibility
- Good knowledge
