We are looking for you as:
Trainee bookseller (m/f/d) for 2023


Start date:

September 1st, 2023


Working hours/week:

37.5 hours


Location:

Karlsruhe Central Station


Your responsibilities:


  • Customer consultation and sales of books and press products
  • Window display design and target grouporiented product presentation
  • Processing of incoming and outgoing goods/returns processing
  • Research in databases and merchandise management analysis
  • Participation and preparation of readings
  • Getting to know and applying the product group systematics
  • Visiting book fairs
  • Mandatory attendance at vocational school in Heidelberg (Julius-SpringerSchule)

Your qualifications:


  • Interest and joy in books and retail
  • Sociability and an open, friendly, wellgroomed appearance
  • Team spirit and reliability
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
  • Good secondary school leaving certificate or high school diploma
