Our 291-bed, acute care hospital features

the San Diego Spine & Joint Center, a highly credentialed acute rehabilitation center, our Paradise Health & Senior Center, a fully equipped and modern cardiac catheterization lab, and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient surgical services, and 24-hour emergency services


Responsibilities:


Assesses the needs of walk-in and phone callers and ensures their referral to the service or resource that best addresses those needs.

Coordinates and prioritizes in-patient bed reservations and placement; ensure the seamless admission of the patient to the appropriate level of care.

Is responsible for advising, informing and assisting the physician and the physician's office before and during hospitalization; informs them of hospital policies and procedures relative to their patient's stay.


Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Must have current valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
  • BSN/Master's degree in health-related field preferred.
  • Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience with Inpatient Psychiatric Care and two (2) years' experience in coordinating level of care assessment.

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $42.23 to $51.50.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
