    Description

    Company Overview

    TRAK Machine Tools (TMT) focuses on creating CNC controls and CNC machine tools for research and development, tooling, and low-volume machining needs. The company combines CNC controls with machine tools and markets the finalized products as complete systems under the respected brands TRAK and ProtoTRAK. Direct sales to customers cover a large part of the United States, with distributor sales expanding to other regions in North America and Europe.

    Job Opportunity

    We are in search of an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of general accounting, be adaptable, and willing to learn various aspects of accounting while supporting other team members when needed.

    Compensation Details

    The annual salary range for this full-time role is between $55,000 and $80,000. Along with the base salary, employees receive additional benefits. The displayed range indicates the minimum and maximum salary targets for new hires, with actual compensation being influenced by factors like location, skills, experience, and education.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage accounts receivable and payable
    • Assist in overseeing invoicing and RMA credit processes
    • Handle banking and cash management tasks
    • Supervise in-house equipment leasing program
    • Support internal and sales tax audits
    • Contribute to 401k plan reporting
    • Coordinate with field personnel on employee benefits
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
    • Prepare department P&L reports

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook; knowledge of Salesforce is a bonus
    • Experience with ERP software, familiarity with Syteline is advantageous
