I am looking for someone to handle my case. I used to work in a real estate office in Vandalia, OH as a real estate agent. I was fired on September 7, 2023. The termination letter stated that I was let go due to poor performance, which is false because I had the most sales in the office. Additionally, my employment contract did not include any clauses regarding company goals. I attended a conciliation meeting on October 2, 2023, but the company did not show up. As a result, I had to file a lawsuit and request a court-appointed lawyer. The lawyer presented a document stating that my termination was unjustified. The court date was set for March 12, 2024. Recently, my lawyer informed me that the company has admitted to the unjustified termination and wants to pay in two installments - 15 days after the court date and the other 1 month later.
I am reaching out to you because I do not feel that my lawyer is adequately representing me and I do not trust that my best interests are being considered. Thank you in advance for your time and I look forward to your response.
