Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences and Arts at the inIT - Institute for Industrial Information Technology of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the
Lemgo campus, a position as a
Research Associate (f/m/d) is available immediately,
fixed-term until June 30, 2026.


The responsibilities will include the following aspects in particular:

  • Leading scientific work in the field of human-centered AI
  • Collaboration with doctoral students in the interdisciplinary research network SAIL (SustAInable Lifecycle of Intelligent Socio-Technical Systems)
  • Presentation of own research results at highlevel national and international conferences and in journals
  • Support in acquiring public funding projects at national and international level
  • Support in teaching and supervision of student projects

If you meet the following requirements, we look forward to receiving your application:

  • Completed academic degree in computer science or a related field, preferably with a focus on human-machine interaction
  • Indepth knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence and humanmachine interaction
  • Interest in questions of humancentered design of AI systems
  • Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are advantageous
  • Selfinitiative, communication skills, organizational ability, assertiveness, and teamwork skills are desirable
