**The city of Horb am Neckar is looking for: Career changers for the "Direct Entry KITA" program

100%, EG S 2 TVöD (m/f/d)**As part of the "Direct Entry KITA" campaign, the city of Horb, in collaboration with the Nagold School of Social Pedagogy, is offering a shortened, practice-integrated training program for "social pedagogical assistants (m/f/d)" starting in September 2024.

This qualification is aimed at individuals with at least two years of vocational training in a non-KITA related profession, who wish to change career fields or are already working as additional staff in KITAs and want to become pedagogical professionals in KITAs.

What to expect from us...

  • Supervision, education, and development of children
  • Care and support in daily tasks and household chores
  • Active participation in team meetings
  • Organizational tasks
  • Attendance at the vocational school for social pedagogical assistants (three days a week in the first year, two days a week in the second year)
What you bring to the table...

  • At least a secondary school diploma
  • A successfully completed (at least twoyear) vocational training
  • Preferably individuals returning to work (people who have not worked in their trained profession for more than four years)
  • Enjoyment of working with children
  • Flexibility, teamwork, empathy, reliability
  • Vaccination or immunity against
