This great responsibility arises from the Seventh Social Code (SGB VII) and guides our actions.

The IT departments of the Berufsgenossenschaft Holz und Metall (BGHM) and the Verwaltungs-Berufsgenossenschaft (VBG) work together in a joint operation (NOVA). The IT strategy of NOVA includes the complete electronic support of all business processes for insured persons, member companies, and within the administration. With the aim of using current technologies safely and promptly, the IT solutions of NOVA are continuously developed and adapted. This includes the development of our own application systems as well as the adaptation and integration of various standard software products. User-friendliness is of particular importance. Short decision-making processes, independent work, and a good working atmosphere characterize us and lead to success in working in interdisciplinary teams.
