Your work environment


You will be responsible for the care of assigned employment agencies and job centers in Heidelberg as part of the Regional Infrastructure Management (RIM) within the Internal Service; occasionally also in neighboring employment agencies and job centers.


The RIM is located in Karlsruhe, but also oversees buildings with their branch offices in the main locations of Mannheim, Heidelberg, Schwäbisch-Hall, Tauberbischofsheim, and Heilbronn.

Your tasks and responsibilities


You will perform simple manual tasks and relocations yourself and supervise/coordinate the work of craftsmen in the buildings of the employment agency or job center, ensuring the proper condition of the buildings.

You will be the contact person and service provider for employees and managers on site


This includes:

  • Monitoring/ensuring business operations and the functionality of inventory, equipment, and facilities
  • Transport tasks (vehicles, products, documents, equipment)
  • Operation of facilities and equipment
  • Performing minor repairs and renovations
  • Conducting relocations and general transport work in the office
  • Issuing cleaning supplies and disposing of waste and confidential documents
  • Cleaning the premises and performing simple gardening tasks
  • Inventory management tasks
  • Work according to instructions
  • Other simple facility tasks
  • Acting as a substitute for the caretaker in their absence
Requirements

  • Completed technical/handicraft apprenticeship
  • At least two years of professional experience with tasks and requirements comparable to the desired position
