Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full time Combat Systems Launcher Systems Support Technician II in San Diego, CA.


Summary:
Support personnel shall read schematics, long lines, and troubleshoot wiring and other electrical/electronic components. Assemble, test, and troubleshoot pneumatic lines and valves.

Assemble, test, and troubleshoot hydraulic lines and valves across various launcher systems include:


MK 32 Surface Vessel Torpedo Tubes (SVTTs): Disassemble, repair, refurbish, reassemble, and test all MKs and MODs of SVTT mounts in accordance with applicable references and additional drawings required to complete the work task. Remove and reinstall SVTT mounts before and after refurbishment aboard U.S. Navy ships.


Torpedo Breech Mechanisms:

Support personnel shall obtain and maintain Torpedo Breech Mechanism Certification through the ISEA within sixty (60) calendar days of providing direct support.

Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, overhaul and test Torpedo Breech Mechanisms in accordance with applicable technical guidance & Formal Work Packages (FWPs).

Accomplish all applicable approved Ordnance Alterations (ORD-ALTS) in accordance with technical requirements.


MK 137 MODs 1, 2, & 4 Super Rapid Blooming Off-Board Chaff (SRBOC) Launchers:

  • Support personnel shall remove, troubleshoot, disassemble, repair/overhaul, reassemble, and install SRBOC launchers in accordance with applicable technical guidance.
  • Support contractor personnel shall conduct electronic operational test before and after final torque of base bolts.
  • Support contractor personnel shall solder connection wires for SRBOC launchers in accordance with system technical manual, Reference I.
  • MK 137 MODs 7 and 10 NULKA (Decoy Launching System):
  • Support contractor personnel shall remove, disassemble, overhaul, reassemble, and install NULKA systems in accordance with Reference J.
  • Support contractor personnel shall solder connection wires for NULKA system in accordance with system technical manual, Reference J.
  • AN/SLQ32, Electronic Warfare (EW)

System:
Support contractor personnel shall remove, disassemble/depopulate, reassemble, and install SLQ-32 EW Systems.


Required Qualifications:


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years' experience
  • Proficient in the use of basic hand and power tools
  • Navy rates; GM//FC/TM/CTT/AO or equivalent industry background preferred
  • Navy/ship/IMA repair experience
  • Ability to use power tools and have the ability to wear a respirator
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and repair standards
  • Ability assist in operational testing, removals/installations, alignments, assembly/disassembly and equipment inspections
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD Secret security clearance
  • Obtain 301 Craftsman qualification
