The Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz Institute for High Frequency Technology (FBH) is an applied research institution in the fields of high frequency electronics, photonics, and quantum physics. The FBH conducts research on electronic and optical components, modules, and systems based on compound semiconductors. These are key building blocks for innovations in the societal areas of communication, energy, health, and mobility.

In the Process Technology department, we are currently looking for two microtechnologists / technical assistants (m/f/d) - semiconductor chip technology.

Your tasks
  • You will perform process steps for wafer processing using automated and manual equipment, with a focus on thin film coating, wafer thinning, and chip singulation. You will monitor the processes, control and document the results and equipment parameters.
  • You will identify and document quality-relevant deviations and participate in the team's development of solutions.
  • You will contribute to the stabilization and optimization of processing processes.
  • In collaboration with colleagues, you will take technical responsibility for individual equipment and contribute to high equipment availability.
  • You will participate in the qualification and further development of manufacturing technologies.
