This is the task:
- Developing sustainable material alternatives for future STIHL products
- Researching potential secondary raw material paths for technical plastics, taking into account sustainability aspects (e.g. recycling, biobased plastics, CO2 balance)
- Implementing and testing selected proposals on specific components and products
- Crossdepartmental and crossproduct collaboration within development
What we are looking for:
- Degree in materials science, plastics engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry or similar fields
- Previous experience in material testing is advantageous
- Technical knowledge in the field of materials engineering and plastics technology is beneficial
- High level of commitment, trustworthiness, and a structured, resultsoriented, and precise work style
- Enjoyment in solving and presenting complex tasks
