This is the task:


  • Developing sustainable material alternatives for future STIHL products
  • Researching potential secondary raw material paths for technical plastics, taking into account sustainability aspects (e.g. recycling, biobased plastics, CO2 balance)
  • Implementing and testing selected proposals on specific components and products
  • Crossdepartmental and crossproduct collaboration within development

What we are looking for:


  • Degree in materials science, plastics engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry or similar fields
  • Previous experience in material testing is advantageous
  • Technical knowledge in the field of materials engineering and plastics technology is beneficial
  • High level of commitment, trustworthiness, and a structured, resultsoriented, and precise work style
  • Enjoyment in solving and presenting complex tasks
