Description

Continental Divide is looking for a new team member at our location in Neunkirchen / Siegerland.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for handling air and rail freight imports, while adhering to country-specific regulations and customer requirements.

This includes purchasing freight, creating quotes, and managing transport billing. You will also be responsible for maintaining master data and handling customs procedures for imports, exports, and transit traffic.

In addition, you will correspond with customers, authorities, and logistics partners both domestically and internationally, and provide telephone support to our customer base.

To be successful in this role, you should have a completed apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics specialist or a strong background in a related field.

Knowledge and experience in transport management and customs procedures are desirable. You should also possess strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and the ability to assert yourself. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required, as well as proficiency in using computer systems.

A self-motivated and structured approach to work, as well as the ability to work well in a team and prioritize customer satisfaction, are also important qualities.
