Our job offer

In our operational procurement department, we provide services for our clients in the areas of forward sourcing, project purchasing, and general procurement/series procurement.

In all teams, we independently and responsibly negotiate with suppliers, analyze offers, select suppliers, and accompany the subsequent awarding process.

We carry out operational procurement activities within the Volkswagen Group and mainly handle the commercial and procurement responsibilities for vehicle components.

Join us in the forward sourcing department and support the supplier selection and awarding process for all commodities.

Your tasks in detail

Processing and managing procurement processes in the request process for new vehicle projects
Coordination with internal departments such as development, product management, production, and finance to identify potential suppliers
Requesting quotes from suppliers, including obtaining offers in German and English for presentation and discussion with our clients
Preparing results for decisionmaking committees for awarding
Representing procurement in various committees
Preparing and sending supplier contracts

Your profile

Degree in business, engineering, or a related field
Professional experience in purchasing and procurement
As our projects currently take place in a Germanspeaking environment, we require fluent German skills (at least level C1)
Very good English skills
First experience in negotiation desired
Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, and customer orientation
