In this profession, meat is your passion. You break it down into individual parts, produce meat and sausage products, and refine them into specialties. In addition, you are responsible for preparing the meat neatly and attractively for sale at the fresh food counter.

During the three-year apprenticeship, you will learn everything you need to know about the production of sausage, ham, and other meat products. This includes quality assurance, hygiene, and handling modern butchery technology.
