The University of Police and Public Administration NRW (HSPV NRW) is looking for a Media Officer (m/f/d) for the study location
Gelsenkirchen and the branch office
Herne:

  • starting immediately
- (EG 9a TV-L) for permanent deployment at HSPV NRW.

Currently, approximately 1,600 students in three degree programs bring the building to life at the Gelsenkirchen study location.

The team of 16 administrative staff, 45 full-time lecturers, and around 200 part-time lecturers at the study location support the students during the theoretical phases of their vocational training.


YOUR TASKS:


  • Maintenance and management of media technology, IT equipment for lecturers and administration, as well as support for the operation and maintenance of IT in close cooperation with the IT department
  • Carrying out minor to extensive repair work, as well as adjusting, configuring, and maintaining media technology devices
  • Coordination of device usage and distribution of TSK/BRR materials (Training Social Competencies / Professional Role Reflection)
  • Collection and preparation of teaching materials for media use (preparation of teaching materials, creating slides and transparencies, etc.)
  • Advising and supporting lecturers, students, and administrative staff, among others, regarding the use of devices (user support)
  • Identifying needs / procurement management, as well as preparing procurement requests and further processing (processing and followup)
