Job Summary:
We're seeking vibrant and passionate instructors to spearhead captivating and hands-on coding sessions for school-aged campers. As a camp instructor, you'll immerse campers in the exhilarating realm of coding through dynamic and interactive lessons.

We're thrilled to invite an enthusiastic Summer Camp Instructor to join our team for an exciting summer program.

In this role, you'll be pivotal in supervising and engaging campers across a spectrum of activities to ensure their safety and foster an enriching experience.

Responsibilities:

Lesson Planning: Designing and preparing engaging and age-appropriate coding lessons and activities for campers, tailored to different skill levels and learning styles.

Instruction: Leading daily coding sessions, providing clear explanations of programming concepts, demonstrating coding techniques, and offering hands-on guidance to students as they work on projects.

Project Supervision: Overseeing campers as they develop their coding projects, offering support, troubleshooting issues, and encouraging creativity and problem-solving.

Feedback and Assessment: Providing constructive feedback to campers on their coding projects, helping them identify areas for improvement, and celebrating their successes.

Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing classroom behavior, and fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and enthusiasm for learning.

Tech Support: Assisting campers with technical challenges, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and ensuring that all necessary tools and resources are available for coding activities.

Safety and Supervision: Ensuring the safety and well-being of campers at all times, following camp policies and procedures, and supervising campers during breaks, outdoor activities, and field trips.

Communication: Communicating regularly with campers, parents, and camp staff, providing updates on camp activities, student progress, and any important information or announcements.


Qualifications:

• Proficiency in programming language, such as Python, Scratch, Java, or JavaScript, with a strong understanding of coding principles and concepts.

• College Student
  (preferred):
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to guide students in overcoming challenges and troubleshooting technical issues during coding activities.
