These are your tasks as a payroll accountant

  • Independent execution of monthly payroll and salary accounting
  • Management of time accounts, vacation and sick days
  • Maintenance of employee master data and personnel files
  • Creation of certificates and reports to authorities and social security agencies
  • Support in the further development and optimization of payroll accounting processes

What you bring to the table as a payroll accountant

  • A completed commercial education with a focus on finance/accounting or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in payroll and salary accounting
  • Good knowledge of income tax and social security law as well as experience with DATEV or comparable payroll software
  • Thorough and independent work style with a strong affinity for numbers
  • Teamwork and strong communication skills
