For over 60 years, we, the Lebenshilfe Hamburg, have been advocating for people with intellectual disabilities and their families


Our goal:

All people with disabilities should lead a fulfilling life - in the midst of society, not just on the sidelines.

We actively support people with disabilities by providing care and advice, whether in their own homes or in a facility, during leisure time, at school, or in employment.

We also participate in political and social discussions whenever important issues arise. We also implement innovative projects, such as in the areas of easy language, digitalization, migration, and refugees. Our aim is nothing less than to shape the living conditions of people with disabilities and their families.

Wherever it is needed, regardless of age, we provide support in the true spirit of our name, _Lebenshilfe_ (life assistance).
