The German Railway is not only one of the most important mobility service providers, but also one of the largest engineering firms in Germany. Currently, more than engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not enough. As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain: the infrastructure for future generations.

We are currently looking for you as a project manager (m/f/d) for civil engineering at our location in Munich. Our organizational unit (approximately 10 employees) is currently focused on the realization of major construction projects for the underground passenger transport facilities (uPva) of the 1st Munich main line.
Your tasks:
  • You will oversee large construction projects with high complexity as the project manager, with special consideration for safety-related aspects
  • You are responsible for adhering to the approved cost, schedule, and quality framework, as well as relevant laws and regulations
  • You are responsible for the tendering and awarding of planning or construction services and monitor the performance of internal and external service providers
  • You are the driver in project monitoring and active risk management, always aware of the status of your projects and able to set the right priorities/take corrective measures to ensure project progress and success
  • You coordinate project stakeholders and maintain constant communication between planners, contractors
