In this role you will:


be part of an interdisciplinary team that works closely with the outpatient behavioral health program to provide an evidence-based treatment model to youth and families.

The Peer Specialist will provide support and assistance to program participants,
family members, and all other program team members. The Peer Specialist will
walk alongside clients on their recovery journeys. The Peer Specialist will serve
as an ally, a mentor, and an advocate for teens as they contend with difficulties
and uncertainties related to mental health challenges.


What qualifications do you need:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • State certification as a peer specialist or provisional certification
  • Experience in peer support or peer advocacy programs

Qualifications Preferred:


  • Language other than English: Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bengali, Hindi, Korean,
etc. Other languages may be required depending on client needs.
