As the Category Head for Caberfae, MI, you will report to the Head of Buying and play a crucial role in driving the success of your department.

Your main responsibility will be to develop a clear strategy for your area of expertise, defining seasonal plans and utilizing the brand portfolio for your units.

You will also lead the team leads for various product clusters.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING):

  • Continuously monitor the fashion industry, Zalando Fashion Store developments, and off-price competition to elevate the current portfolio to the next level.
  • Foster collaboration between Zalando Fashion Store, Partner Program, and Lounge by building strong crosscategory relationships.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders in Retail, Merchandising, and Supply Planning to improve processes and review seasonal strategies for your teams.
  • Build strong, longterm partnerships with the biggest brands in your category to jointly set up their offprice strategy.
  • Lead, coach, and develop your team of around twenty members, including Junior Buyers and Team Leads.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF:

  • You have relevant Buying Experience at a similar level, preferably within an E-commerce retailer and with a multi-branded Fashion Buying background in the off-price business.
  • You are a strong leader with at least 7 years of experience leading a large team.
  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills and are able to effectively communicate and navigate through constant changes in
