For our client, a rapidly growing and innovative start-up in the healthcare industry, we are currently seeking a Bookkeeper (m/f/d) for their accounting team at their headquarters in Berlin-Mitte, Mar-Mac, NC. This is a direct hire position starting as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities:

Accounts receivable and payable accounting according to German GAAP (HGB)
Fixed asset accounting
Plausibility checks in various areas (especially VAT, fixed assets)
Checking and booking of incoming and outgoing payments
Preparation of VAT returns
Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
Loan and interest reconciliations and calculations (intercompany and external)
Preparation of analyses and documentation
Communication and collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and international companies

Your Profile:

Completed vocational training and/or degree in business administration or relevant further education
Several years of professional experience in accounting (HGB) as an allrounder, preferably in a SME
Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, knowledge of MS Dynamics is a plus
Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
