    San Diego Football Club (San Diego FC) is the newest members of the MLS family.

    THE ROLE

    The Marketing Manager is responsible for aligning all the marketing and communications related to the sales and partnerships team at San Diego FC.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Creative Content strategy for the San Diego FC partnership / sales team.
    Collaborate with internal and corporate staff to plan, ideate, and design b2b content driven campaigns to present to prospects.

    Serve as the project manager for sales and partnerships creative requests: ensure deadlines are met, keep projects up to date in software, communicate with team 2.

    Support the creative design process for various client initiatives.
    Lead the creation and delivery of department and client communications.

    Design custom mock-ups for how a partnership space could come to life.
    Create infographics and graphic design elements for outreach campaigns.
    Identify, develop, and implement new and innovative marketing opportunities and strategies focused on increasing brand awareness.
    Monitor various traffic and digital performance metrics and adjust designs accordingly.
    Communicate directly with partnerships executives, project-based teams, and internal teams to ensure the brand. guidelines are met in all collateral representing San Diego FC.
    Manage relationship with internal and third-party vendors and resources.
    All other duties and projects as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels.

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
    Degree in Marketing, Design, or relative industry.

    3+ years as a full-time or part-time marketing or creative professional with a strong desire to grow marketing and creative skills independently and collaboratively.

    Understanding of sports and/or brand marketing, branding, sponsorship, and client services.
    Advanced Adobe Photoshop and Apple Keynote skills.
    Experience with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
    Experience with video editing a plus.
    Comfortable presenting to the organization and project leadership.
    Highly motivated self-starter, with strategic thinking and personal leadership skills.
    Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
    Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
    Strong problem-solving skills and executioner.
    Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate effectively with internal sales and management teams.
    Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills.
    Ability to take constructive criticism and change direction based on feedback.
    Great attitude, willingness to take on other duties that may not fall into outlined job description.

    COMPENSATION

    Competitive salary $80,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
