Duties:


_This is a flexible (0-40 hours per week) position, without benefits._

  • The incumbent cleans offices, storerooms, corridors, game rooms, restrooms and other designated areas, to include mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors using mops and brooms. Vacuums and scrubs carpeting using industrial vacuum cleaner and carpet scrubber. Washes windows, ceiling fixtures and room partitions using ladders, dusting in the program areas.
  • Washes walls, woodwork, windows (inside and out), and venetian blinds using ladders as needed.
  • Collects trash, empties ashtrays and deposits in dumpsters.
  • Maintains cleanliness of restrooms during and after operating hours.
  • Maintains MWR's outside entryways and circle driveways in a clean, orderly manner. May include picking up trash in lawn areas surrounding MWR areas.
  • Reports any safety hazards and needed repairs in spaces to the supervisor immediately.
  • Incumbent performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Conditions of Employment:


  • Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
  • Must successfully pass the Everify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
  • You must go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I
  • May be required to pass preemployment examinations.
  • Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National.
  • A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles.
  • Must have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
