Position Summary:


  • This recruitment is for a Temporary Recreation Supervisor position through UCI's internal temporary staffing service. This position is based out of the UC Irvine Campus's Anteater Recreation Center (ARC).
  • Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Supervise recreation program leaders, instructors, and camp counselors.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care as necessary.
  • Supervise unit operations to ensure compliance with departmental or organizational polices, procedures, and defined internal controls.
  • Plan, organize, and implement youth camp recreational programs.
  • Serve as point of contact between campus recreation and parents of camp participants.
  • Oversee inventory, storage, budget, and maintenance of equipment.

Compensation Range:

- $22.75/hour (within full range of $ $30.27/hour).


Required:


  • Experience working with children.
  • 12 years' experience in recreational and facility supervision.
  • CPR certification and First Aid training
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT

  • The majority of our temporary positions are Monday
  • Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. We also have occasional parttime, weekend, and evening hours available, depending on the assignment. Comprehensive benefits options are also available for temporary employees, including paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
