  • Public Safety and Order, at the earliest possible date.
  • The position is in pay group 9b TVöD / salary group A9 (3rd entry level) LBesG
  • Permanent
  • With a regular weekly working time of currently 39 or 40 hours.

Your tasks:


  • As a clerk in the market and fair management, you will organize and supervise various city events such as the Backfischfest, the largest combined wine and folk festival on the Rhine, as well as the Pentecost market, Christmas market, and weekly market

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing applications, creating contracts and invoices
  • Tendering
  • Awarding contracts for the events
  • Planning for the layout and marking of the market area, taking into account permits, infrastructure, and safety requirements
  • Allocation of spaces, instruction of vendors, and coordination of setup and dismantling
  • Inspection of the market area
  • Acting as event manager in rotation with colleagues
  • Creating records, daily reports on the course of events, and incidents during the events
  • Monitoring and overseeing the events
  • Maintaining order at the events
