Responsibilities we entrust to you in Vernon, CA:

  • You are responsible for the work processes from merchandise disposition to delivery and storage, all the way to product sales, and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • You ensure compliance with business metrics and conduct inventory.
  • With passion, you lead your team and plan staffing.
  • You oversee maintenance, care, and cleaning of equipment and machinery, as well as their upkeep.
  • You work in accordance with quality standards set by EDEKA Minden-Hannover and other legal regulations.

Do you see yourself in this role?:

  • You have completed training in retail or food trade (e.g. in food production or as a cook) or have a food hygiene certificate.
  • Ideally, you have previous experience in this field.
  • You have knowledge of products and assortments in the meat, sausage, and cheese department, as well as experience in sales at the counter.
  • You have a business mindset and experience in department management.
  • You communicate transparently, are empathetic, creative, and make decisions independently.

Your working hours and location:


  • Fulltime
  • Rotating shifts within the store's opening hours
