This position is part time (8 hour) benefitted position.
Sundays only from 6:30am to 3:00pm.
_ What You'll Do:
_
- Prioritize daily workload for scheduled and unscheduled supply carts, ensuring replenishment and general housekeeping for carts in user areas, including nursing floors and operating rooms.
- Perform accurate data entry in the Materials Management computer system, handling inventory pick lists, patient charges, and other assigned functions.
- Deliver incoming goods, supply orders, and patient care equipment to user departments, obtaining required signatures and processing documentation.
- Complete daily reorder processing for the assigned supply zone, maintaining inventory levels within desired parameters and monitoring quantities on hand.
- Handle incoming department telephone requests, respond to phone messages and pager requests, ensuring prompt and accurate information.
- Perform basic stockkeeping duties for assigned items, including charge stickers for patient charge items. Conduct daily cleanup of the work area and dispose of cardboard as assigned.
- Provide counting of inventory and restocking of consumable medical goods in Bulk Stores or other hospital supply areas.
- Process and ship outbound freight, completing and maintaining all shipping documentation.
What You'll Bring:
