The Institute for Hospital Remuneration System (InEK GmbH) supports hospitals, health insurance companies, and their associations in Germany in the continuous development of remuneration systems for hospital services, in accordance with the Hospital Financing Act (KHG). The institute is under the legal supervision of the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG). For this purpose, it has been entrusted with sovereign powers and assigned with various tasks.


For our Medicine department, we are currently seeking a
Referent (m/f/d) for the Medicine department to join our office in Siegburg as soon as possible.

Your qualifications...

  • Completed degree, preferably with a mathematical or scientific focus
  • Previous experience in a hospital is an advantage
  • Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with the representation of medical services in remuneration systems and complex application software and analysis techniques
  • Strong communication skills, ability to present complex issues concisely and tailored to the audience
  • Structured, independent, and solutionoriented work style
  • Strong analytical, logical, and holistic thinking skills
Your responsibilities...

  • Support the Medicine department team in the further development of remuneration systems for German hospitals
  • Examination and analysis of performance and cost data of hospitals
  • Research on the representation of innovations in the remuneration system (new diagnostic and treatment methods)
  • Participation in consultations in internal and external committees
