To continue driving the digital transformation in local government, we are looking for a (Senior) Java/Kotlin Software Developer (m/w/d) with experience in cloud-native development.

In this role, you will join our team in the Social Security division in Herten, located in the heart of the Ruhr region.

You will work full-time (40 hours/week) or 90% part-time (36 hours/week) and have the opportunity to advance your career with the market leader in municipal IT solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Combining cloud technology with the traditional image of government to make it easier for people in difficult situations to receive help
Developing the next generation of software
Working in an agile SCRUM team with a dedicated product owner and scrum master, actively shaping the development process
Bringing together domaindriven design and technical expertise through direct collaboration with our domain experts
Utilizing stateoftheart tools and methods, such as Event Storming, ATDD, Cloud-NativeStack, Kubernetes, Docker, and Quarkus
Participating in Friday barcamps for team development
Contributing to crossfunctional teams based on your interests (e.g. UX, security, quality assurance)
Following a testfirst approach and involving DevOps experts in the development process
