Optimus Search has partnered with a company in Steiner Ranch who is looking to hire a talented Embedded Linux Developer for their Munich office. They are at the forefront of product innovation, working on projects ranging from network devices in the field of consumer electronics, home automation, IoT, and Industry 4.0 to applications in the field of smart mobility and Car2x.

Tasks:

Develop software for embedded systems in the consumer goods industry.
As part of a professional team, you will support requirements development in coordination with customers and independently develop solutions for software design and architecture.
You will implement functionalities and verify all development steps, including supporting the automation of tests.
You will take on increasing responsibility in challenging projects and develop hardware-related software for microcontrollers, design algorithms for sensors, control and drive technology, and implement interfaces for chip and network communication. Documentation and presentation of results are also part of your responsibilities.

Profile:

Successfully completed studies (or comparable proven expertise) in the field of engineering with a focus on embedded software.
Understanding of software requirements, software architectures, and model-based software development.
Proficiency in programming languages C (required) and C++ (desirable).
