The Vice President of Financial Intelligence role is a newly created role within Platform Solutions that will be responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and ongoing engagement with strategic partners that support platform initiatives across the Financial Intelligence segment
- customer identity, transaction monitoring, security, and program automation. This role will largely focus on our Financial Services vertical including FI's, fintech's and merchants.


In addition there will be an element of leading relationships with key strategic accounts, and for cultivating relationships with key prospective accounts.

The VP will play across the Platform businesses (Financial Intelligence, Embedded Finance, and B2B - Payables and Receivables) coordinating new leads and expanding business opportunities across Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) providers.


About the role


This individual will closely collaborate with the FIS Platforms Product and Strategy teams supporting its mission of establishing a developer marketplace, deploying experience APIs, and extending into new markets.

We are seeking an inspirational leader who will help shepherd net new solutions that support long term growth, effectively utilize capital investment, and support long-term expansion and competitiveness.

They will be tasked with (1) identifying innovation opportunities with key partners that support client centricity and profitable revenue growth, (2) being the voice for Fintel as we explore global partnerships that strengthen our products and (3) establishing, influencing, and leading a small but high performing team/cross functional partners.


  • Lead in partnership with Platform executive stakeholders to define and implement strategies that deliver end user value through strategic FinTech partnerships.
  • Meet with clients and prospects to understand their unmet business needs and current vendor landscape, to decrease friction and maximize value across the value chain.
  • Partner with Platform Solutions P&L leaders to innovate and bring new capabilities to market through componentized and shared technology and services
  • Evaluate buy/build/partner scenarios and make recommendations on business benefits and risks
  • Analyze market fit, realize/articulate business value and track adoption of new and existing partnerships. customer identity
  • Partner across lines of business to define and coordinate execution of crosscompany solutions bundles that represent repeatable sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technology, finance, legal, strategic investments, pricing, product development, technology, and commercialization teams.
  • Identify and evaluate new markets for expansion, conducting market research and risk assessments.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry leaders, and internal stakeholders.
  • Pursue new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.

What you bring:

Acumen & Strategy

  • 10+ years in platform engineering and/or product management experience with emphasis in banking and API products.
  • Laser focus on delivering value for clients and end users.
  • Serve as a client champion and advocate; understand and focus on clients' needs, establish credibility, and build positive, professional relationships with clients.
  • Proven track record of success in product management, product development, innovation, and/or other forms of revenue growth acceleration strategy and execution.
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills coupled with a track record of successful transformational leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of legal and finance aspects of API products.
  • Strong problemsolving ability, and practical experience in delivering complex solutions in a fastmoving business landscape.
  • Undergraduate degree; MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry a plus
