We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced colleague to join our motivated team at our location in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany.


Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of global procurement strategies in terms of cost, time, and quality
  • Identification of cost reduction potentials
  • Regular coordination with international plants and suppliers, taking into account the global demand situation
  • Analysis of local and global procurement markets and conducting supplier sourcing
  • Preparation of tenders and requests for quotations (RFQ)
  • Responsibility for evaluating offers and conducting negotiations, including contract drafting
  • Accompanying supplier audits
  • Continuous optimization of procurement processes and standardization of procedures
  • Interdisciplinary project work and implementation of system optimizations
  • Support of department management in the economic and profitable planning and implementation of all procurement processes in various commodities

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed studies with a focus on business or technology, or relevant professional experience with a completed apprenticeship
  • Professional experience in the field of procurement/material management
  • Experience in contract law and negotiating contract terms
  • Good to very good user knowledge of SAP and MS Office
  • Solid knowledge of single or series production, as well as project business, is advantageous
  • Assertiveness, results orientation, initiative, and a high quality awareness
  • Strong communication skills and a strong team player
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for business
