At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as an IT specialist/IT operator - Operations Center at our location in Bonn.

Your responsibilities

  • Monitoring of the supported IT services to ensure compliance with agreed system availabilities with proactive error correction or prevention in a 24x7 operating model (Operations Center/Control Room)
  • Ensuring a stable and uninterrupted system operation with a high level of protection
  • Implementation of best practice guidelines and execution of playbooks in the responsible area
  • Execution of change management for the deployed software and hardware systems
  • Documentation of malfunctions and forwarding to the appropriate IT support teams

Your profile

  • Successfully completed IT training, e.g. as an IT specialist, alternatively professional experience in the mentioned area of responsibility or career change
  • First professional experience in securing complex IT infrastructures as well as in the provision and operation of Linux systems
  • Basic knowledge in handling monitoring tools and their use in heterogeneous infrastructures
  • Ideally, know-how in the application of automation and IaC tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
  • Experience in regulated environments and with corresponding certifications (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI C5 or similar) desirable
