Job Summary and Qualifications
The Patient Safety Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Risk Management with tasks and activities related to the facilitys risk and claims management program. Activities/functions include managing/analyzing data, compiling reports, conducting facility investigations, assisting with pertinent education activities, and participating in performance improvement teams pertinent to risk management. It is the responsibility of each employee to maximize the resources of the hospital. As a member of the HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland's staff, the employee makes a significant contribution to the publics perception of the hospital. Performs additional tasks/activities as assigned.
