Student Assistant (m/f/d):

The
Institute of Molecular Biology gGmbH (IMB) is a center of excellence for life sciences located on the campus of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.

In the area of general administration, we are currently seeking a student assistant for procurement and purchasing, starting as soon as possible.


Responsibilities of the position include:


  • Internal procurement and purchasing management (especially for laboratory, IT, and office supplies)
  • Placing orders, checking incoming goods, handling complaints
  • Constant internal communication with scientific departments and accounting
  • Working in an interdisciplinary team

Required qualifications:


  • Strong customer service orientation, flexibility, resilience, and commitment
  • Good English skills (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications


The position (minimum 15 hours/week) with flexible working hours will be available from January and is intended to be filled for a longer term (minimum 10 months up to 2 years).
