We are looking for a part time caretaker at our Turner, Maine community.


Job Overview

Responsibilities

Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.
  • Address minor repairs promptly and efficiently, escalating complex issues to the appropriate parties.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the management.

Groundskeeping:

  • Maintain the landscaping, including trimming bushes, watering and weeding garden beds, and enhancing the property's curb appeal.
  • Clear walkways and parking areas during inclement weather to ensure the safety of residents.
  • Oversee the proper disposal of trash and recycling materials.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in property maintenance, caretaking, or a related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual labor tasks.

From $16.00 per hour
