GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's degree.


Experience:

Four years of experience in technology-related program management.

Two years of experience in online data management systems, data analysis, or database development and maintenance work.


NOTE:
Experience may have occurred concurrently.


Licensure:

Applicant must possess a valid class State driver's license.

Must be able to complete within 90 days of employment, the CJIS Security Awareness, NCIC Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) and TCOLE 3807 TCIC/NCIC Criminal Justice Practitioner Certification

Must pass a national fingerprint-based record check. Any felony conviction is an automatic disqualifier. Misdemeanor convictions may be disqualifier.

Note:
Retention of position contingent obtaining and maintaining required certifications.


ACCEPTABLE SUBSTITUTIONS

Education:


One additional year of experience in online data management systems, data analysis, or database development and maintenance work, may substitute 30 semester hours of the required education with a maximum substitution of 120 semester hours.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:


Major coursework from a bachelor's or post bachelor's degree programs from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or closely related field.


Experience:

Prior experience in a help desk environment in support staff in critical need situations.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of Internet technologies, security technologies, and database systems administration;
Knowledge of network equipment, practices and technologies;
Skill in effective verbal and written communication;
Skill in Database management/ownership;
