Description
At Reynolds Heights, HANS KOLB Papier produces the raw material for corrugated cardboard production. As a paper technologist, you will set up largely automated machines and systems, operate and monitor them.

You will work, among other things, on a so-called 2-layer long sieve paper machine with state-of-the-art control and regulation technology.

You will prepare the starting material, waste paper, by adding water, fillers and additives. This mixture then becomes new recycled paper. After cutting it to the final format, you will package the paper rolls and ensure proper storage. Throughout the production process, you will check the quality of the finished product and monitor measuring and testing displays. Your tasks also include maintaining and cleaning machines and other equipment.

Do you have a secondary school leaving certificate or a good qualifying secondary school leaving certificate with above-average grades in the natural sciences of chemistry, physics and mathematics? If you are also responsible, careful and a team player, then becoming a paper technologist is the right choice for you.
